Could you kindly inform me whether the MSc Geography programme will follow an annual or a semester-wise examination schedule for the July 2025 admission batch? An official confirmation or guideline about the exam frequency would be highly helpful.

Thank you for your query. The M.Sc. Geography programme at IGNOU follows a semester-wise examination system. Since you have been admitted in the July 2025 session, your first semester examinations will be scheduled in June 2026, followed by the next in December 2026, and so on.
Each semester you will be required to appear in the Term-End Examination (TEE) for the respective courses you have registered for that semester. The examination schedule (tentative/final date sheet) and related notifications will be made available on the IGNOU website in advance.
